After Anime Expo we were hungry and sushi sounded good. A 10 minute walk from the convention center later, we were seated after a minute. There was space at the sushi bar. We got two sushi rolls, salmon roll with seaweed salad and baked green mussels. The sushi came out relatively quick. They looked like they were made in a rush, barely holding together. To be fair they were very crowded. It tasted pretty good. The fish was fresh, there was the right amount of rice, and the seaweed was crisp. However the mussels took 20 minutes longer. We had already finished when the mussels finally came. The mussels was well worth the wait. It was juicy, tasty, and full of flavor. I ate two before I remembered to take a picture. They apologized for bringing the mussels late. Overall it was a good meal.

Very fresh and affordable, the service was good and the restaurant was nice. Went here with my coworkers and the golden salmon roll was all of our favorite ms

4 stars for convenience next to Crypto (2 block walk from parking), fast service (1 guy was running all the tables - props to him), and for the flavor of the food. Took a star off for portion size - I only ordered one roll and it did not have many pieces :(

So far so great! Tucked between Flower and 11th on Hope st. Here's a delightful little sushi place. Food here is pleasantly spicy and satisfying. Quick and convenient service ! Ambiance is loud atm but is totally tolerable.

It's good! I like coming here for lunch when I don't have much time. My favorite is the hot night roll. It's pretty big and tasty. Service has been pretty quick both times I've gone. It's usually low key and the waiters rotate between three people that do their job. I wouldn't say there is a ton of love for the craft or anything here, but if you want a place to grab a quick bite this is a good spot! Ashley is a great server

It's our go to sushi place in DTLA! It's been one of constants in this area around LA Live. Sushi is always fresh and service is exceptional. I like the new happy hour menu that features salmon or yellowtail Kama at happy hour prices. It will take about 15-20 minutes to prepare, but it's worth the wait. For dessert I'm hooked on the macaroon ice cream.

Arashi Sushi on Hope Street is my lunchtime happy place, and I've clocked in two visits already which left me smiling! I've been here twice now, and each time it's a special treat! It's about two blocks and a good walk from my office and will soon become a go-to lunch spot for special celebrations! For an hour lunch, the team members here are friendly and efficient. They are the real MVPs- friendly, quick, and always can answer any question you have about the menu. You don't have to wait very long for your food, which makes the lunch rush feel manageable. I appreciate the variety on the menu and the sushi has been consistently fresh. The Albacore Special Roll is one of my favorites, especially with the magically crispy topping they put on it. It's a great place to order sushi rolls to share and it's been a delight to see what they bring out. The Chirashi Bowl lunch time special is a great deal for a great portion. I couldn't stuff my face with all of it but it kept me full the rest of the busy day. Thanks for a good time Arashi Sushi. Keep the sushi magic alive, and I'll keep rolling back here for more good times!

Pretty good and the prices were fair. The only downside was that the crispy rice was burnt, and was difficult to bite into as a result. The albacore was delicious as was the sauce and onions on top. Niche criticism here potentially, but there was a bit too much spicy tuna on top of the crispy rice as well for my liking, threw off the ratio. But still was good overall.
